Edit, edit, and more edits…. It seems that is all I have been doing lately. Well, I stop now and then and write another story….so much more fun than editing, but I am getting there. I have completed the first full edit of my final project for the Certificate in Writing, and it is back with my instructor, author David Leyton.
What should I do until our next Zoom meeting on Friday? As one of my grandchildren used to say,” Easy, peasy lemon squeezy.” I have been rewarded with two whole days of reading and writing. I have been rewarded with spring weather finally coming (to stay?) in Haliburton. Today, I will finish reading all the stories and poems in the current edition of The New Canadian Stories magazine and in Heavens to Murgatroyd. They are delightful…
And, of course, I am so honoured to have one of my short stories in each of these: Married in March 1940 and Guardian of Mount Murgatroyd
Never quite sure I am worthy, but happy:)
